Terms of Service
The terms of service are so that I can be very clear with my clients in what I expect, or to avoid issues that other artists have encountered in the past. This and all pages on this website are subject to change. None of my art may be reposted without credit or claimed as yours (as in claiming you drew it rather than me), and my signature/any watermarks placed on the image may not be altered or removed in any way. You may not use my work for use in merchandise or other commercial products. I do not consent to any of my artwork, altered or otherwise, being made into a non-fungible token (NFT) or being used to train AI software.
Please read the full Terms of Service (ToS for short) before contacting me for commissions.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask!

Commission cancellation and refunds

I reserve the right to refuse a commission for any reason. The following are the most likely reasons I may refuse a commission, though it's very uncommon:
- Client is rude, blatantly ignores ToS, or has a history of scamming, abusive behavior, anything of this nature and I'm uncomfortable working with them
- Client's commission request is a massive work load or effort and I cannot feasibly do within a reasonable time
- My time to work on commissions has been completely eaten up by IRL circumstances, like a sudden obligation or urgent matter. Typically I'll try to keep contact with my client if something comes up that prevents me from working, but if I'm certain it won't be done for a long time, I'll issue a refund.
Contacting me
Contact info and commission status is in the home page. Make sure I'm open for commissions before you send me commission info. If you contact me for commissions, be sure your language is concise and easy to read. Include as much information as you can about what you'd like: any references of the character you have, a personality snippet (or in the case of multiple characters, the relationship between the other character[s]), what type of piece you'd like drawn, things like that! Please be sure the information pertains to what you'd like done, I probably won't need a detailed personality and history snippet for something like an icon. On the other hand, I need more than a few bullet points for something like a sketch page! Basically, please give info that you know will be useful in drawing your character.
Completion & completion time
I'll have a list on the homepage of my client queue. If you're wondering where I am with your piece, check there first! My turnaround time is wholly dependent on my IRL circumstances and workload. This means my turnaround time could be anywhere from a few days to a few weeks or more. This wait time is also dependent on your place in the queue. If I am working on your piece, I will send you regular WIP shots of the piece for confirmation of your requests before I move on. Don't be afraid to speak up if you see something that needs changed early on in the process, because it will be harder to change as I go on with the piece. For any major changes that will require a lot of effort, I will charge extra for my time.
If your piece has a deadline, please contact me roughly two weeks before the piece is needed. If the commission you need is complex, more time may even be needed -- the earlier, the better! I will keep in touch with you and let you know if anything pops up in my life that might delay your commission. I also expect for you to keep in contact with me if anything happens that could delay payment or receiving a piece, or if you forgot something about the piece I should know. I don't bite!
Payment
UPDATE 7/12/2023: I am now using Stripe as my primary method of payment! I will now only be using Paypal for clients in countries for which Stripe is not available. Please look at the current list of countries for which Stripe is available and please let me know if your country is not listed, and I can use Paypal instead.
After we have communicated the expectations of the art you will receive, please give me your email so I can send you an invoice to pay. I use this method so that I can correctly mark the payment as Goods and Services and catalogue my commissions. Prompt payment is always appreciated, but don't worry about paying immediately! I typically wait for payment to go through before I start work on a commission, as in the past I've been worried about not being compensated for my work because of late payment for one reason or another. As always, I appreciate communication if you're unsure of when you'd be able to pay.
